Use Case & Requirements
We are a rental company. These table tops will be transported, assembled, and disassembled repeatedly across different event locations. This means the product will be handled frequently by staff, loaded in and out of transport vehicles, and stacked during storage.
Durability is critical. The paint and surface finish must be extremely robust and resistant to scratches, scuffs, and chipping. The edges will take the most impact during transport, which is why we need them well-rounded — sharp corners chip easily and show wear quickly. The carbon fiber composite needs to withstand regular knocks and bumps without visible damage.
Lightweight but sturdy. Staff will carry these by hand using the two handle cutouts on the back edge. The table top must be light enough for one person to carry comfortably, yet rigid enough to not flex or bow when placed on a frame. Weight is a key factor — every kilogram matters when you are loading dozens of these for an event.
Handle cutouts (back edge). The two handles (9 × 3 cm, 60 cm apart) are specifically sized and positioned for ergonomic carrying. They must be smooth to the touch with no sharp edges — staff will grip these hundreds of times.
Square cutout (front-right, 10 × 10 cm). This opening on the front edge serves as a utility access point (e.g. for cable routing or clamp mounting at events). It should be cleanly finished with slightly rounded inner corners to prevent stress fractures from repeated use.
